Kim Kardashian makes Kris Jenner cry. What happened! "

This conversation became more intense than expected.

Kris Jenner has been the queen of Christmas Eve since before you were born.

So abdicating his throne before the holiday season of 2018 is not an irrelevant issue. After decades of being the hostess, the party organizer is officially asked to give up the event in this surprisingly emotional preview of Keeping Up With the Kardashians. The fans who saw the pictures of Kar-Jenner's Christmas party last year can probably guess who their successor is, but she first needs her mother's approval.

Kanye West's wife thinks that, since her mother's famous festive evenings usually attract a crowd of "older" people, mostly friends of Kris, the family is ready to update the tradition a bit.

"We just have a different vibe and a different energy," says Kim, adding that her husband is willing to help with the preparations and that he "will have so many ideas." He also tells his mother that "all the brothers" are in favor of a new place for their annual Christmas party.

"I want you to give us your blessing, not only do I want to steal it," says Kim, who clearly is surprised when she sees that her mother is already bathed in tears.

"No, I want you to be able to do this until you are my age and one of your children takes over, that's all ... that's the joy," Kris explains progressively. Of course, passing the baton to the next generation means letting go, which is not easy.

"The time has come for us to maybe change the location [of the party] and do it here in our house," suggests Kim Kardashian, after Kris approaches the issue with a request for creative contributions, since her daughter tends to to be "a bit hard with [her]" about "doing the same thing every year."
