In one of the most important fashion nights of the MET 2019 Gala, sisters Kendall and Kylie Jenner raised "funny" criticisms about their outfits that were similar to Disney characters and comedy films. Marlon Wayans, who starred in the humorous film "White Girls" in 2004, claimed that the dresses were similar to those worn by the sisters in the film. In fact, he posted a photo on his Instagram account where they see the Jenners and the 'White Girls' (when Wayans and the characters dress up for an impromptu parade). Titled as: "White chicks 2 ... he writes himself". While in the stories of Kendall shared a picture of the evil twins belonging to the 2004 film "She enchanted" and the stepsisters of Cinderella Disney. NBA Playoffs: Golden State Warriors without Kevin Durant?

Imagen
In an agonizing manner, Golden State Warriors dispatched the Houston Rockets by a score of 104-99, which left the series 3-2 in their favor, so that, with one more victory, they will qualify for the Western Conference Final of the NBA Thanks to a touchdown by Klay Thompson with four seconds left, the Warriors, current champions, headed for the title match, where they could face, if they win this Friday in Houston, the winner of the Portland-Denver crossing. which are winning the Nuggets 3-2. The bad news for Golden State was the injury suffered by Kevin Durant, one of its main stars, after falling on the stave after jumping on Iman Shumpert. Although the diagnosis showed a distension in the right calf, an affliction that is not considered serious, it is most likely to remain between cottons for at least a week. It should be noted that the Warriors had in Klay Thompson, Sthepen Curry and Durant their best elements, the first one collaborated with 27 points, the seco...

HIGHLANDS RANCH, Colorado, USA - A shooting at a US school left at least one person dead and eight injured on Tuesday afternoon at a private school in Highland Ranch, in the suburbs of Denver, Colorado. The educational center, called STEM, is located 13 kilometers from Columbine High School, where 20 students killed 20 people two years ago. In the afternoon, the suspects entered the school and began to shoot the students in two classrooms. In a matter of minutes, officers from a nearby police station entered the scene and arrested the attackers after a confrontation, according to Douglas County Police Chief Tony Spurlock. "By the time they got to the school, the officers could still hear the shots," said County Sheriff's Deputy Chief Holly Nicholson-Kluth. "I must believe that the quick response from the agents who entered the school helped save lives," Spurlock said. So far there are two suspects arrested: one is of legal age and the other is minor. The surprising triumph of Miss Teen USA that claims diversity in the industry

Imagen
For the first time in history the country three black women have won the beauty pageants For some time black models like Naomi Campbell, Iman or Tyra Banks have been fighting for a change in the fashion industry. The tops that triumphed in the 90s and continue to do so today demand that the sector diversify and that the big luxury brands bet on girls of color to participate in their fashion shows and advertising campaigns. Now the United States has just given a lesson in this regard with the election of its new Miss Teen USA. The 18-year-old Kaliegh Garris has been crowned this weekend as the prettiest in the country showing the world as it is. The Connecticut model decided to participate in the contest with her curly mane, an unprecedented decision with which she challenged the traditional canons of beauty imposed for years and which prioritize wearing straight or wavy hair in this type of event. "I know how I look with straight hair, with ...

NEW NEWS: Trump changes position on Venezuela and Russia after conversation with Putin

Imagen
The president of the United States (USA), Donald Trump, confirmed Friday the telephone meeting he had with his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin, about the political situation Venezuela is currently facing. After the call, Trump maintained his conviction that Putin "is not thinking of intervening in Venezuela," which is unmarked by the statements made by the US National Security Advisor, John Bolton or the US Secretary of State , Mike Pompeo, in which they intended to give Russia an interventionist role in the South American nation. "He is not thinking at all of intervening in Venezuela, beyond that he wants to see something positive happen in the country, and I feel the same," said Trump. Just three hours before Trump spoke to the press, Bolton wrote on the social network Twitter that "Maduro is only clinging to power because of the support of Russia and Cuba, the only foreign military forces in Venezuela." "The US will not tolerat...

LAS MINUTE: Trump contradicts his government by denying Putin's interference in Venezuela

Imagen
Several days accusing each other of interfering in the internal crisis in Venezuela, the presidents of the United States and Russia have addressed the issue in a long telephone conversation in which they also discussed the situation in North Korea, as reported by the spokesperson for the White House, Sarah Sanders. The conversation between Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin lasted for more than an hour. Trump's summary of the talk has caused stupefaction in Washington. Contrary to what has been defended in public by several prominent members of his Administration, the US president believes that Moscow is neither involved in what is currently happening in Venezuela nor wants to be more. "Putin does not want to get involved in Venezuela any more than he would like to see something positive happen for the country," the president told the press in the oval office. "And I see it in the same way," he added, although a few weeks ago he himself energetically asked...

The tragedy of Venezuela will seriously affect the US

Imagen
Knowing what I know about my own Administration’s attempt to unseat Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez in 2002, I was not surprised when the effort was recently renewed by the Trump Administration, particularly when such arch-defenders of Latin American rights as Elliott Abrams, Marco Rubio, and Rick Scott – not to mention John Bolton – began to appear on the White House payroll. Knowing as well that Trump did not give a farthing for what happened in Venezuela but was concentrated on what he is always focused on, domestic politics, I knew these underlings would be allowed to cry havoc and let slip the dogs of war in Venezuela so long as doing it secured Florida’s electoral votes for Trump in 2020. What I did not know – but looking back to 2002, should have – is how utterly incompetent the CIA would be in pulling off the "soft coup d’etat" that its leaders promised Trump. The events of the past 48 hours have demonstrated that incompetence markedly, as well as the real...

Could Russia and the US come to a deal over Venezuela’s Maduro?

Imagen
As unrest continues in Venezuela, some analysts are questioning how much support Russia will give beleaguered President Nicolas Maduro and if Moscow could be ready to strike a deal with the U.S. to end the Latin American country’s political and humanitarian crisis. The U.S. and Russia have traded fresh barbs over Venezuela, each accusing the other of interfering in the country as protesters took to the streets for a second day in support of opposition leader Juan Guaido. On Tuesday, U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said that Maduro was prepared to leave the protest-wracked country Tuesday morning but said he had changed his mind after Russia intervened. "They had an airplane on the tarmac. He was ready to leave this morning, as we understand it. Russians indicated he should stay," Pompeo told CNN. Russia rebuffed that accusation, with Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova saying Wednesday that the U.S. assertion was part of an "information war,...
